"Town was walkable. Rooms were spacious and clean. There was a locker room outside for ski and snowboard equipment to dry and everything. Building is well maintained. The spa, pool and steam room are very nice and needed after snowboarding. The gym is minimalistic but does exist. The restaurant however refused to serve me. Said they were full but there was only one table full of people. More then half of the tables and chairs were empty but was still refused service."

"We had a wonderful stay at Schloss Hotel & Spa in Zermatt. The location is excellent - just a short walk from the train ststion, which made arriving and getting around very convenient. "After a fantastic, long and relaxing journey on the Glacia Express from Chur to Zermatt, we arrived at Hotel Sarazena around 9pm. Diana had left us a nice note, apologising for not being present, but enclosed the keys to our room, and that we would deal with check-in in the morning. We entered the lift, went to the 4th floor, opened the door and were completely blown away, there it was, curtains open with a full view of the Matterhorn out the window. "We reserved a Matterhorn view with extra price for the stay in May. Our room was on the first floor with partial view of Matterhorn and not much privacy which was somewhat disappointing. The hotel was quiet overall but the lights switches were very confusing. We asked for a train station pick up but they asked us to call even though we told them we didn’t have a phone number."

"My room has a balcony that is facing Matterhorn. It is spacious and it looks three times better from the picture. It also has a lift/elevator if it helps. Overall it is a great place to stay. Also it is 15-16 mins walk from the train, a little climb to the hill but for me who is not that athletic i can still manage A little downside was, when I first enter the room, and check the toilet there were f*c*s stains inside the toilet bowl. Good to have some double check for the housekeeping team"
