"The remodel of Valley River iInn is wonderful. Nice to be able to return to this motel that we’ve enjoyed for so many years in the past. Room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely return on our next trip to Eugene. Go Ducks!!"

"This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at the Hayward. The rooms are comfortable and I like the way the hotel has been redone; it looks like it may have been built in the 60’s and they respect the eras aesthetic without being campy. The bed was comfortable, I wish they had higher toilets in regular rooms (old knees and surgeries but…). The best part was the very much above average food in the bar and the fantastic drinks. Really top notch bartending. "

"We stayed here for a cheer competition. I liked that it was walking distance to the convention center and I felt pretty safe. The area outside the hotel was nicely kept and no homeless people were around, like the other hotels in Portland. The staff was super helpful and friendly, I will definitely be staying here again!"
