"The apartment was very cozy and a nice place to rest after an overnight flight (the comfortable mattress and black-out curtains were appreciated!) Very comfortable washroom and shower. It even had laundry facilities! Parking was easy. Staff at the restaurant below helped with check-in process. We took our morning walk in the nearby Geothermal park which has a geyser. "A nice relaxing hotel in a convenient location, not too far from The Geothermal Park Hveragerð, Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and the Kerið Crater. A pool and hot tub are available. Breakfast had plenty of varieties of hot items and pastries. A small community park with a waterfall, neighborhood shops, cafes and food hall are also within walking distance."

" Good Clean room, very supportive staff. Good breakfast options and nice hot tub. Has lots of nooks or places for people to read or hangout outside of the room. Good choice for anyone's stay. Only slight downside is rooms are not very sound proof. Overall I would rate this a solid nothing wrong, but nothing overly special about it either. But does have very nice staff. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grimsborgir. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved having the hot tubs in such close proximity. The breakfast that was included was delicious and had a wide variety. I would absolutely stay here again! It was a perfect base of operations for exploring Reykjavik and Snæfellsnes. "

"The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless. It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, which was a bit disappointing. It’s definitely a place we would love to stay at again and highly recommend to others."

"The room itself was fine - bright windows and lighter coloured laminate wood floors. Bathroom was stylish but not very functional with the design of the sink (no countertop space and can’t imagine how many things fall down the very large drain). Upon arrival gentleman checking us in was not very friendly. We had an issue with the safe in our room and he accused us of inputting the code wrong. We hadn’t. We had just arrived and the door was already locked. It started beeping loudly and...

"The instructions were not accurate in getting into the unit and it took pver 15 min to get in. The bedding was dirty and looked used. There was zero heat and was very very cold. The hot tub was not filled and warm and when i asked i was given a rude explanation on it and that thw instructions in the unit would explain. They didnt. They were not able to fix the heat and i had 2 seniors and a child ao we had to bundle up. So not worth the money. "

"Arik was an amazing help to Our adventures. His recommendation of Laugaras Lagoon was fantastic! We loved the atmosphere and aesthetics of the hotel and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We loved the small yet relaxing pool out under the structure. It had a very apocalyptic look and feeling. The chef makes the most delicious Atlantic cod dish and the quinoa burger is tasty."
