"I really enjoyed my stay. I love historic properties, and this one has retained all its character and charm. The air was scented with Linden trees, there is an old oak with a 7-8 foot caliper, a restaurant, and live music in the Carriage house. Plus a wonderful plant nursery next door. It’s been awhile since my overall experience was so good that I wasn’t interested in nitpicking!"

"Our room, though very compact, was clean and the bed comfortable. No mirror in the bedroom area; only in the bathroom. Bathroom was clean and sufficient but very thin towels and the toilet seat was cracked/peeling. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast. Offerings were minimal and some was inedible fruit and with an hour to go in the breakfast timing there was very little left. When told about the empty servers and cold case, staff just shrugged and nothing was refilled. Very paltry and...

"Spotless room, amazing water pressure in the shower, very helpful front desk. It's in a very quiet area but close to attractions and an easy drive to Walmart to grab supplies. Would definitely stay again!"

"For the price it was decent for a quick passing through. Room was clean but had off putting smell about it. Pool was not maintained. There seemed to be multiple more permanent residents living at the motel that were hanging out smoking outside our door. Friendly but off putting."

"After checking into my room, I noticed that there were some questionable stains on the chair in the room. I called the Front Desk and they could care less. They gave me a BS answer that they will let someone know. Of course nothing was done. The next morning after nothing was done, I mentioned it again. I got a response of - We will let housekeeping know. It was absolutely disgusting and the lack of care about it completely turned me off. The room had a moldy smell as well. I would NEVER...

"The shower and bathroom were not cleaned prior to our arrival. The staff took care of it after I called and let them know unfortunately after I was in the shower. Housekeeping came right away to clean the whole room."
