"Clean and compact room offers good value for money. Staff are welcoming, and the pub offers excellent meals. The location is not too far from Edinburgh Airport and a pleasant 25-30 minute walk to my meeting at Heriot-Watt University. It's also on the #44 busline for access to Edinburgh, and only a 15 minute walk from a train station where I could catch a local train to Glasgow."

"Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "

"The house and facilities are fantastic, in fact it felt so homely and welcoming we did not want to come home. The owners are lovely people very friendly and helpful The area is great for getting to many close by areas and dog walks. Love the art around the gardens, fenced in garden great for our pooches. Definitely going back, need to suss the bath as couldn't get hot water but this was an "us" fault not there's as we are rubbish with reading instructions. The only let down to our weekend was...
