"Spent 4 days and 4 nights at Hotel del Lago with my wife for a vacation and to golf. The staff was great, extremely helpful and hospitable. The building is a bit run down, as mentioned in other reviews, so that was expected. Could definitely use a deep cleaning, but we were there in the Spring so may have had some lingering winter dust to knock off. The breakfast was good, standard Uruguayan resort breakfast from our experience, the dinner had some good dishes too, and with Punta del Lago 20...

"My husband and I speak mainly English and a little Spanish, and the staff was so kind and willing to help us with all of our needs and questions when we got lost and confused. I recommend this place to everyone who are looking for peace, quiet, and kindness. "

"If you are planning a trip to Punta del Este or Playa Chihuahua this is an excellent choice if you are looking for a warm inviting place to stay whether you are traveling alone or as a couple or with friends. Just like the beautiful stretch of naturist beach the vibe is peaceful and relaxing. The hotel accommodations are perfect and the staff will make every effort to make your stay a memorable one. If you are having any hesitation I would not pass this one up. You won’t be disappointed."

Muitos comércios ao redor, muitas lanchonetes,fast food, subway, MC donalds, etc. Tem tudo ao redor. Nas fotos a gente não dá nada pelo hotel mas se surpreende quando chega. Dá pra estacionar na frente sem risco de multa. Área linda ao redor, casas bonitas. Enfim. Voltaria com certeza. Haa ducha maravilhosa restaurantes, lojinhas"

I accidentally left my essential medication in the refrigerator in my room, and the staff went above and beyond by sending it to me in another city where I was staying. I truly appreciate their kindness, professionalism, and outstanding service. Highly recommended!"

"My (now) wife and I stayed there for a week ahead of our wedding, and our experience was very special. The property is very well designed with well-decorated rooms, a peaceful outdoor pool and garden, and a fantastic brutalist indoor pool. What stood out however was the attentiveness of the staff - they went as far as to let us know when the pool was free of children, received some critical deliveries, and were overall very kind for the duration of our stay.
