Easy to get to and from the train station and didn't take long to get into Amsterdam. Zaandam restaurants were nice but the walk there in the evening we felt uncomfortable with the many youths hanging about."

"Hotel was excellent for our family of four. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good for out of the main centre but a short train or tram ride into central Amsterdam. We had a two bed apartment which was very clean and the kitchen area was great for quick snacks/breakfast. The kids loved the games area. All in all a great place and would stay again next time in Amsterdam with the family."
