This was a repeat stay and Amrath is ideally situated in Alkmaar, easy walk to station and town centre. The disability room we had was spacious and provided all the support needed. Good breakfast each day. Really helpful staff.

Amazing staff. Super friendly, helpful. 10/10 The reason why I’m giving this hotel a 4/5 stars is because the bed was TERRIBLE. Too soft, two tiny beds put together, they separate while you sleep at night.. it was a horrible experience. No joke I slept 5 hours in that 48h period I was there. Another 24h I would have had to sleep on the floor. Otherwise, The hotel was very decent.

The Location is good ,walking distance from the shopping area and the Train station, staff are kind, Breakfast is perfect, am regularly stay in this hotel, but I noticed this time smell of drainage in the bath room which is annoying me.

Pleasant overnight stay for a family event. The room was clean, warm and well presented. Staff attentive and friendly. Convenient walking distance from the railway station and close to town. Breakfast was a self service buffet which was very nice. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Great location for non-car travelers - easy walk to station and town centre. Breakfast good but expensive and did run out of items as staff could not keep up with volume. Double bed very odd as it was two singles pushed together - the matresses kept moving apart in the night creating a Grand Canyon in the middle.

We really loved our stay at Amrath Hotel in Alkmaar! Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the area was wonderful. There's a nice park right across the canal that flows in front of the hotel, and the central town area is an easy walk. There we found great restaurants, a picturesque town, all the shopping a person could want, church bells that rang and played beautiful music, and lots of friendly people with their dogs. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station too. We would be happy to stay there again.

Such a great team running the hotel. Comfortable if a little dated and scruffy around the edges. However it was clean, quiet and the food at breakfast was great. The staff can’t do enough for you, and overall it’s a definite stay again when I’m back in the area.

Old fashioned but clean

The hotel 🏨 is clean, close to downtown. Breakfast is excellent. Room need to be renovated, bathroom is out of dated, shower is inside the bathtubs, so you need a kind of agility to step in, closed with a curtain. Wake up call is not always reliable.

Comfort on the edge of town

It is a nice comfortable hotel with good sized rooms. In places some refurbishment is required, for example in the bathroom. Bed comfortable and air con a bonus. Good to have drinks in room and coffee machine but nothing without caffeine. Breakfast ok but bit limited on choice. Peaceful part of town and nice for morning walks

The staff is exceptional!!! They worked extremely hard too accommodate my schedule. They wear constantly updating me on availability too book more days!i couldn't have asked for a better staff and cleaning ladies. The hotel was spotless! My only complaint was my room was next too the cleaning supply closet so I could hear everything . i was more than thrilled with my stay at AMRATH and would stay there again as well as recommend it too family and friends!
