This is a wonderful place to stay! We were very well taken care of and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. This is a must do when visiting Peru! The floating islands are AMAZING and like nothing else in the world. The lodge is so neat and a very unique experience. The meals at the lodge were great and it was so nice! This is a must do. You will love it!

Joel and his family were kind and generous in sharing their home and culture with us. They provided us three full meals during our stay and two tours of the islands, one on a traditional boat! I would recommend a home stay on Lake Titicaca to anyone and I can’t imagine a more hospitable stay than ours at the Uros Samaraña Uta Lodge.

Une expérience authentique inoubliable et complète

Nous avons passé de moments inoubliables avec César et sa famille : une expérience hors du commun sur une île flottante, loin du bruit de la ville, loin de toute agitation. Un petit en barque traditionnelle (différents de celles touristiques qu'il y a un peu partout sur les îles) le matin sur le Lac Titicaca, nous avons eu la chance de faire une matinée de pêche et avons eu 8 poissons !!!! La Femme de césar nous a également initié à la réalisation d'un petit souvenir artisanal qu'on a pu ramener avec nous. C'était vraiment une superbe expérience. Il n'est pas possible de payer avec une carte bancaire sur place mais cela n'est pas un problème car si on n'a pas assez de cash, il nous donne la possibilité de faire un retrait au moment du départ et de donner le paiement au chauffeur. Merci beaucoup César pour votre accueille et pour cette inoubliable et authentique expérience ! C'est un luxe d'avoir partagé ces moments avec vous !

Amazing experience

We come on winter time it’s very cold but the environment just let us love it! Host show us around their community and how to make and maintain their islands. Breakfast and dinner was delicious!
