First of all, this place should be condemned. Second of all, I don't know why it is available for reservations as it is currently closed due to renovations. It would have been nice for the owner to call/text or email me when the reservation was made a month ago to let me know that it wasn't open. Upon arrival the owner told me he had one room available and that it would be ready by 2pm. Let me tell you, I have stayed in some sketchy places but this one was by far the worst room I have ever stayed in. It was absolutely filthy. There was mold around the bath tub and all over the shower "curtain". The kitchen (the room came with a full kitchen) was filthy. The counter top was covered in "crud". The stove top didn't work at all (but I wouldn't have cooked in there anyway so that was not an issue). There was a coffee pot on the counter but again, I wouldn't have used it because it was so dirty. The bed was not uncomfortable but is was covered in thick plastic so everytime you moved it made a noise. The pillows were hard. I bring my own though so that wasn't an issue. The towels in the bathroom however were very clean and sparkling white so that was nice! There was a flat screen tv with cable and the place had wifi but I didn't use either of those things. I wouldn't stay here again for free.

Security not so great. No extra security lock on door. Door could be easily jimmied with a plastic card. Typical old style motel where furniture, rugs and windows need to be brought into the 21st century. ok for the price for me. Had a brand new and very comfortable box spring and mattress (still in plastic). Fridge and microwave a plus but have to supply everything else. Manager very friendly and even gave me a coffee for the morning.

OK if you ONLY care about cheap price.

No deadbolt on door. No nightstand or chairs. Beds encased in plastic bedbug protectors, loud crinkling sound everytime you move. No cleaning service between nights. No sign of a manager when I rang the bell for 10 minutes at 10AM in the office, and no cellular service available to call. What appeared to be a large dried up blood splatter on bathroom door (I'm not kidding/exaggerating). Gross large stain on the fabric of ottoman. Toilet and shower had not been cleaned before our stay. Buildup of dust/grime on baseboard heaters, missing bathroom floor tiles, etc exhibit a lack of maintenance at a very basic level. This place is fine if you just need a bed overnight, but if you like a clean room, look elsewhere. I'm not picky or easily grossed out (I stayed there for a second night - but only b/c I couldn't find any staff to give me a refund for the second prepaid night), but this was below my comfort level, even for a cheap room (I paid $62/night). I'd expect this only at a $40/night interstate rest area motel. And even at those types of places, I rarely experience a place as disappointing as this. On the upside, the TV worked, there was heat, the toilet flushed, the hot water worked, and there was a refrigerator and microwave.

Clean enough but very noisy

Friendly, easy check-in. Room was reasonably clean. Micro and fridge in room was decent. But the noise was horrendous; that is, there is zero soundproofing and you can hear every word, sneeze, cough, snoring, and footsteps of the other guests, even on the other floor. Bring earplugs. Otherwise, the lower price was good and the location convenient.

I got to the Inn about 5pm. There was no one in the office so I called the number left on the door. I called three times before they drove up. I gave the man my name and he told me he had tried to put the payment through before I got there. I told him I used Orbitz because I wasn't going to be charged before I got there. I had to pay before I was given a key because they don't have a customer pay when they leave. I usually travel with my daughter and she Never pays until she leaves!

To hot to sleep

The hotel it self was ok it was great in the 80's. The heat was on all night it was 82 degrees in the room with the window open in January. Not comfortable at all

2e visites, à recommander

5 jours avec ma fille et ses deux enfants. Belle semaine, nous pouvions faire déjeuner et souper aux enfants, par la suite marché dans la ville et nous pouvions souper tranquille en adultes avec les enfants qui s'amusaient. L'endroit est vieux mais c'est comme le reste. Ce qui compte c'est la propreté et le coucher.

Legacy Inn wasn't a great Hotel it wasn't that clean and lot of flies.

Cheapest Motel in Lake George and it shows

This is a the cheapest motel in Lake George and there's some reasons for that. The check in was not done by someone from the staff but by a member of the family of the owner. They gave us the wrong key for our room so we could not unlock it from the outside. We resolved to let nothing in the room and leave the door unlocked when we were not there. Handle for the water in the shower was not working well. The second day, the nice lady at the desk was much more helpful and helped us with all of our demands. Use this motel if you're on a tight budget.

Chambre pleine de poussière , de la moisissure dans la salle de bain. Parterre salle, on ne peut pas marcher à pieds nus.
