You must stay this hotel!!

Excellent services, excellent staffs, everything is so wonderful! This is the best hotel we stayed so far. Really thankful for everything to make our holiday with good memories!!

Hotel was ideally located not too far from the train station. The hotel was a little gem with excellent accommodating staff. Breakfast was excellent.

Extremt mysigt hotell som har allt! Centralt läge, mitt på gå gatan! Servicen går inte att klaga på alls, gör din frukost på beställning, hjälper dig med att fixa tåg och bussbiljetter. Hit kommer vi att återvända igen, utan tvekan!

Mysigt litet familjärt hhotell

Rekomenderar verkligen Racconti di mare till de som reser till La Spezia. De som äger hotellet är trevliga, tillmötesgående och hjälpsamma. Rummen är individuellt inredda och fantastiskt fina med olika teman! Har ingenting att klaga på och kommer definitivt återkomma.

Parking is an issue. Not close to beach. Poor room views. Good local restaurants. The owner Dario was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Good breakfast.

The people here at Racconte di Mare are very friendly and helpful, on arrival all local attractions and transport options were explained to us and breakfast is fully catered by a couple of lovely girls. We stayed in the parrot room which has a private courtyard and was very nice. Be aware that this room opens directly onto the breakfast area and it is noisy, especially when breakfast is being set up early in the morning. Rooms 4 and 5 down the corridor would be much quieter.

Easy to find; just be aware of street numbers. 5 min walk from train station. Customer service was perfect:- Davide very informative and welcoming on arrival, breakfast ladies lovely and the house keeper even included kisses on departure.

À refaire sans hésiter !

Comme à la maison ! En plein centre ville sans avoir les inconvénients du bruit puisque l'hypercentre est piéton. Entre la gare (pour les cinque terre par ex) et la marina, joignables en à peine 10 min à pieds. Malgré notre arrivée tardive, David nous a accueilli très gentiment, nous a aidé à porter nos bagages et a pris le temps de nous installer, de nous conseiller sur les cinque terre et même de nous fournir les billets, ce qui nous a évité une interminable queue à la gare. Pas de climatisation dans la chambre, mais mais il nous a installé un ventilateur supplémentaire et offert des bouteilles d'eau, en plus des jus de fruits déjà mis à disposition gratuitement dans le minibar de la chambre. Un coffre fort et une douche simple avec une déco originale. Durant tout le séjour et quelle que soit l'heure, on a accès à la cuisine, avec douceurs, fruits frais, boissons, yaourts offerts gracieusement. On peut se faire à manger ou utiliser les couverts pour déguster une pizza ou foccaca achetée en ville... Comme à la maison ! Le petit déjeuner est servi par une adorable jeune fille, et qui cuisine à la demande, les œufs, le café, presse les oranges. Au buffet, on trouve salade de fruits frais, tarte aux fruits, petits plats maison, croissants chauds aux graines... Le patron, fort sympathique lui aussi, nous a proposé divers itinéraires autour de la Spezia. Et au moment de partir, cerise sur le gâteau, ils nous ont offert un adorable souvenir. Merci encore ! Allez y sans hésiter.

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jagodr was a beautiful lady and made us feel at home. She provided breakfast and information about the area. The owner meet us on arrival and also provided us with things to see and do whilst staying in La Spezia. The accommodation was amazing, bathroom and room was large and when you closed the windows and doors it was quiet. We were there in the heat and even though there was a ceiling fan which offered some comfort we still found it very warm. Loved the theme and the art work. We will definately visit again as we really enjoyed our stay.

Great experience and value

Great service, they all give it a touch to make it a unforgettable experience. The place allows you to receive a touch of the local flare. Im glad we chose this hotel as it is far from the usual corporate model. Accomodations are worth more than the price we paid. The hotel is around 10 min walk from the train station. This allows to travel around Cinque Tierra easily by train. They also offer the train pass right premises. Make sure to call in advance as they dont have a fulltime desk. .Thank you to all the staff and the owner for unforgettable experience.

Sehr familiär, super Lage und perfekte Lage

Die Besitzer sind äusserst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr ausgewogen und reichhaltig. Die Lage, zentrumsnah und perfekt. Die Zimmer entsprechen den Bildern. Die Terrasse ist innerhalb, gleicht mehr einem spanischen Patio, also keine frische Luft. Für Kurzaufenthalte, max. 3-4 Tage ist dieses Hotel perfekt!

The best of La Spezia

Wonderful staff. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Excellent location. Park at train station for a short walk to the property. Shops and restaurants and markets are all steps from the door. Dario is an excel and engaging host.
