The hotel is small and cozy. The room was very big, with plenty of space for two adults. It was clean and well-equipped, with a small fridge, a kettle, tea bags, a coffee table, and two chairs. Although it was cold outside, the room was perfectly warm and comfortable. The breakfast was great, offering a wide and varied selection, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The location is excellent very close to the train station, where you can easily catch trains to the Cinque Terre, just a 5-minute walk from the harbor, and within easy reach of many bars and restaurants for dinner. A special mention goes to the staff, who were extremely kind, professional, and always ready to help with any request. Overall, the experience was very good.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was spotless and tastefully furnished, and the staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. The hotel has a really stylish boutique atmosphere that we absolutely loved. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection of fresh options. Its location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station, the historic center and the Harbor. If you are arriving by car, I recommend reserving parking in advance as they offer a private secure garage right next to the hotel, which made our arrival very smooth. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The location is ideal, and the room is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The room was also very quiet, which allowed us to rest very well. We particularly appreciated the proximity to the train station: it is only a two-minute walk away, which is perfect for visiting the five villages of the Cinque Terre. The parking is also extremely convenient, which is a real advantage in the area. Not to mention the staff, who were exceptional with us: always attentive, professional, and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. An outstanding location for our needs.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The location is ideal as a base for exploring the Cinque Terre: the train station is right next door, and the old town of La Spezia begins practically at the doorstep. Perfectly connected yet pleasantly quiet. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and always available, you immediately feel welcome. The rooms are very comfortable, modernly furnished, and excellently soundproofed. The cleanliness and the meticulous care taken throughout the entire property are particularly noteworthy. The breakfast was also very good: fresh, varied, and of high quality. Another big plus is the on-site parking, which makes your stay in the city much more relaxed. The services offered are well-designed and well-organized. Overall, everything here is absolutely perfect, especially the excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Amazing location, just steps from strain station. Clean, spacious, and very comfortable room with great facilities. The location was convenient, and the staff are beyond excellent. They are incredibly kind, professional, and always available to help or answer any questions with a smile. Private parking is a huge benefit. Excellent breakfast with a lot of options. There is mini market just outside the hotel which has everything you need. Lockers for baggages very useful when your train is in the late evening. We would happily stay here again.

Excellent stay. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Centrale Station and just two blocks from the marina where ferries depart, making incredibly easy to reach the Cinque Terre. The property was spotless, well maintained, and felt very comfortable. Breakfast is such a nice touch and was much appreciated. What really stood out was the staff; friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the stay. I would absolutely choose this hotel again over any name-brand option.

Beautiful hotel in the best location, just a few steps from the train station. Recently renovated over a year and a half ago, the location is residential so it’s extremely quiet. Fantastic amenities, an excellent breakfast and the staff are very knowledgeable and truly friendly. If you’re looking for peace without being in a crowded area, this is the perfect choice. Very central and within walking distance of everything. Highly recommended.

Amazing boutique hotel with impeccable amenities, great location (100m from train station to Cinque Terre), and wonderful service from all the staff. The hotel was clean, excellent location, near the main roads and attractions locations, even near the stops of sightseeing buses. The staff are very friendly, they didn't hesitate to explain and give information right at the moment when we arrived and checked in, and during our stay they were very helpful to make reservations upon request, arrange transfers and give advice where to go and how to make the best of our stay. The room is big, very clean and super comfortable, true modern European style! The breakfast was also very good. We felt pampered and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel and everything was above my expectations since arriving until leaving.

The location was perfect. Comfortable and modern rooms that look newly refurbished. Everything looks of a high standard, much better than the photos on the site. The room was clean and of a high standard. The staff were very helpful and were a pleasure to deal with. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. The staff overseeing the breakfast service were incredibly attentive, making sure everything was replenished quickly and that guests had everything they needed to start their day off right. Whether you’re in the mood for a leisurely breakfast or need a quick bite before heading out, the flexibility and quality of the offerings will meet your every need. The location is ideal and super convenient for traveling around and visiting the Cinque Terre area. Having parking available is also a huge plus in La Spezia. The staff were incredibly kind and always happy to assist with anything we needed. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. This was our third stay at this lovely hotel, and since we are already planning another vacation here next year, it’s safe to say that we were extremely happy once again. The rooms were fresh, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated being able to park our car free of charge in a private parking area close to the hotel. The overall décor of the property is elegant and thoughtfully designed, and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding. It’s a perfect place to stay if you want to experience the Cinque Terre without the crowds. The atmosphere is amazing, everything is clean, well organized, and the service is impeccable. Michele welcomed us upon arrival and he was absolutely wonderful so much so that we decided to extend our stay by another night. It was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.

Dal momento dell’arrivo ho capito di aver scelto l’hotel giusto. Accoglienza calorosa e professionale che mette subito a proprio agio. Lo staff è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. La posizione è perfetta per visitare le Cinque Terre, camere moderne e molto confortevoli, con pulizia impeccabile. Colazione ricca e di qualità servita al bar al piano terra. Ho apprezzato molto anche la comodità del parcheggio nelle vicinanze che mi ha semplificato molto il mio arrivo. Rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero ottimo. Un hotel che consiglio senza esitazioni e in cui tornerò volentieri!

Fantastic location. The staff are so helpful, attentive, warm and friendly. We received a generous upgraded room at check in and were also delivered a welcome gift of fruit and sweet and savoury snacks/treats brought to our room just after we arrived. Our room was so unbelievably comfortable, and maid service was perfection, always on hand to replenish toiletries, mini bar or assist to any request. Cinque Terre Gateway truly did welcome us and made us feel at home!! Breakfast was also amazing with excellent choices of foods at breakfast and a great variety of options.

The room was very comfortable, modern, and extremely clean. It had just been renovated, so it felt fresh and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts are very kind and attentive. The free soft drinks in the minibar and the coffee machine are a thoughtful touch and show great attention to customer service. The included breakfast is excellent and offers a wide variety of options. Since we arrived by car, we really appreciated that the hotel had private parking. The location is unbeatable, both for visiting the city of La Spezia and for exploring Cinque Terre. Just a 2-minute walk from the train station and the harbor, I can’t imagine a better way to discover Cinque Terre. We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Choosing this hotel turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. The staff were kind, efficient, and always ready to help. The location in La Spezia is ideal for visiting the Cinque Terre, with easy access and convenient parking options. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and pleasantly quiet thanks to good soundproofing, allowing us to rest perfectly. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, services were well managed and clearly communicated, and the overall comfort exceeded expectations. Excellent value for money and a hotel we would gladly recommend and return to.

Die Lage ist hervorragend in nur fünf Minuten erreicht man alle wichtigen Punkte. La Spezia ist eine kleine, aber sehr charmante und wunderschöne Stadt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, geräumig und komfortabel. Ein sehr praktischer und bequem erreichbarer Parkplatz steht zur Verfügung, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Das Personal ist durchweg äußerst freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, mit frischen, handwerklich hergestellten Produkten von hoher Qualität. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die große Aufmerksamkeit gegenüber meinen Ernährungsbedürfnissen: Als Veganerin mit Glutenunverträglichkeit und weiteren Intoleranzen wurde ich hervorragend betreut, es wurden sogar extra Produkte für mich besorgt. Einfach sensationell.

Amazing hotel and perfect base for exploring Cinque Terre! The staff were friendly and helpful, the location perfect for visiting Cinque Terre, and the room very comfortable, clean and spotless. Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour. Dès notre arrivée, le personnel s’est montré d’une grande gentillesse, professionnel et toujours disponible. L’emplacement est idéal, juste à côté de la gare et à quelques minutes du centre historique, ce qui rend la visite des Cinque Terre extrêmement pratique. La chambre était spacieuse, moderne et impeccablement propre, offrant un confort rare pour un hôtel de cette catégorie. Chaque détail semblait pensé pour le bien-être des clients. Le petit déjeuner, varié et délicieux, servi dans une très belle salle, a été un vrai plaisir chaque matin. Nous avons aussi apprécié la facilité de stationnement et l’efficacité des services proposés, qui rendent le séjour encore plus agréable. Compte tenu de la qualité globale, le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment excellent. En résumé, un hôtel accueillant, confortable et idéalement situé. Nous le recommandons vivement et reviendrons sans hésiter !

We had a fabulous stay at Cinque Terre Gateway! Michael went above and beyond to help us. We had a hiccup with our parking, called him on WhatsApp and he took care of calling the parking garage and getting the issue resolved. He was on his way out and spotted us pulling our luggage and introduced himself. He then helped with our luggage and getting us settled and oriented to the city. He recommended some fabulous things to do in the area including 2 wineries. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in LaSpezia/Cinque Terre. Perfect location with lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Be sure and include breakfast in your stay. Wonderful caffe with great coffee, juice and pastries. FYI: Can also book direct with the hotel.
