Hotel Dekat La Grande Rue

"Good rooms, great stay. Exactly what we needed to see Mont Saint Michel."

"Room was charming and spotless. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was recently remodeled. Tub a little difficult to maneuver as a senior but most in Europe are. We especially enjoyed the secret door to the castle walkways at night."

"The location is excellent. Dinner is good. There is on-site parking. Everything else is mediocre."

"Very confusing check in. They asked me to check in at one hotel, then go to another one for the key, and then my room was in a different part of the town as expected. Room itself was fine."

"There are very few options on the island. We have stayed twice and both hotels were typical euro hotels. However, they are very rustic due to the fact that they are built into the mountain, Lots of character. Parking is off site but there is a free shuttle. Make sure you get detailed instructions to get to the pay lot. You will need a code and park at the Le Relais hotel. Check in is also there and quick, Shuttle will pick you up just outside."

"Check in at Le Relais was easy, Le Saint Aubert was not far, parking was easy, rooms were small but very clean, and breakfast was great! Easy access to the shuttle to Mt St Michel, out front just down the street. Would recommend!"

"A little gem with a very warm welcome. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely return when we’re in the area."

"The family were so lovely and welcoming. We got to meet the father who was so very interesting and shared many memories and stories of the Chateau and his family. Would recommend staying to all for a unique French Chateau experience. Also loved the five-course evening meal by the chef, truly unique."

"Nice property where you are taken care of by the owners making our stay great. They gave us tips about the Saint Michel and Saint Malo experiences. Breakfast was also great."

"Très bon séjour ! La chambre était propre, confortable et bien entretenue. Le personnel a été accueillant, disponible et toujours prêt à aider. L’établissement est particulièrement adapté aux familles, grâce à son ambiance calme et à ses équipements pratiques. Je recommande sans hésiter pour un séjour agréable et reposant."

"superbe hôte, on a même donné le lait aux agneaux, expérience magnifique pour notre enfant "

"A very comfortable, friendly, family run hotel in an ideal location for exploring Avranche, Mont Saint Michel and the surrounding area."

"Zeer vriendelijke receptioniste, heel mooie "apart" kamers. Verzorgd ontbijt op de kamer. Gratis parking. Zeker aanbevolen."

"Alt fint og roligt, kun godt at berette"
