"My wife, my 15-year-old daughter, and I spent a week at Serenade in the Dominican Republic. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The Luxury Suite was the highlight of the trip. At nearly 1,100 square feet, it felt spacious and comfortable, with two full bathrooms and a large balcony, which made a big difference during our stay. The beach was the second best aspect of the resort. It is fairly large, quiet, and well equipped with plenty of lounge chairs, making it easy to relax without feeling crowded. In terms of layout, the resort amenities are somewhat limited. The property is essentially organized in a U-shape around multiple pools, which makes the pools the central focus of the resort experience. Unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing overall. The Italian restaurant and the Steakhouse were the best dining options. The Sushi and Mediterranean restaurants were below expectations, although the Mediterranean venue did serve excellent grilled squid. All in all, it was a pleasant trip to the Dominican Republic, with the suite and the beach being the standout features of the stay."

"the drapes in the room were filthy and extremely dirty as well as the bed skirts. the front desk staff are terrible.. guest services and front desk claim they use different computer systems and both give out different information. getting ahold of a manager is impossible before the trip and during. also i guess they dont have enough help because whenever you need the front desk it takes almost an hour to be seen. we went with a broken tv for days and no room phone for 3 days. we had a handicap person and no way to call to get a golf cart ride for her. the bar and restaurant staff were nice though. pool was just ok. personally i dont think its big enough for the amount of people there. nowhere does it state that there is ala carte restrictions when booking; so eating at buffet for almost our entire trip is not for me. i will not revisit mainly do to ala carte restrictions and front desk help being unacceptable and rude and just have an attitude as they dont care about the guest. they are not welcoming! . there are many other all inclusives without ala carte restrictions. will not return"

"Lovely all inclusive with amazing beach and pools. Great entertainment during the day and night. The night club is a bit loud but good space and all amenities you could want. The bathroom in the junior suite is a little awkward as it’s all open to the bedroom with a sliding frosted glass door just for the toilet so it’s not super private, the shower area is all open as well so coming out of the shower anyone in bedroom will see you and potentially anyone from the courtyard if balcony door shades are open. But the room is large and the patio with hot tub is awesome with a view of the ocean off in the distance. Food was also pretty good, especially the themed restaurants that you need to reserve. The circus show was amazing on Wed night! The adults only section is also great with its own entertainment and lots of dancing prior to main show at 10pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!"
