"We are so pleased to have stayed 7 nights at HIRUGI. The staff helped us prior to arrival with car rental and restaurant reservations (we don't speak Japanese). The lady of the house is SUPER hospitable (speaks French too). So many positive aspects including tips on New Year activities taking place and a traditional dinner organized. We were the only couple there most nights, few other guests during our stay, so we mostly had the place to ourselves. We would definitely stay again and recommend...

"My partner and I stayed for two nights and loved it at Irumote So! The room was spacious, the hosts are so lovely, and the hostel is equipped with everything you need. The rooftop patio was a beautiful place to watch the sun set. It’s a little far from town but the hosts will pick you up and drop you off from the ferry terminal. There’s a restaurant nearby which was great for dinners both nights. 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying in Iriomote. "

"Die Unterkunft ist praktisch und sauber, auch ästhetisch und dabei funktionell eingerichtet. Ein wenig mehr Abstand zum Nachbarn wäre vielleicht nett, man hat keine Aussicht irgendwohin und die Häuschen sind genau genommen Container, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit."

"We really like the location, it’s near the beach, but then we found out that beach has a lot of jellyfish, so we cannot swim in the ocean there.
