"Took 30 min. to tell front desk we were turning in our towel cards at the end of our stay. They need more than 2 people at the front desk during peak hours. Our room was very clean and tidy every day."

"Firstly, this hotel may look like a motel but cleanliness is their priority. Next, their service is impeccable. The rooms may be small but the bed is so comfortable. If you get a chance, you must take some time to visit their mini museum and schedule a tour with Uncle Ron who is so passionate about his culture and sharing knowledge about Hawaii. "My wife and I stayed at Aston Islander on the Beach for our honeymoon, making this trip especially meaningful. While the location is excellent, several issues impacted our stay. Upon arrival, we did not receive the advertised shell lei greeting and had to request it after seeing other guests receive one. "The bed is good. AC unit is a small window unit that has buttons you have to make guess(nothing is marked). AC unit is loud when it’s running. It’s a good location for everything. The island is small anyway"

"They were very accommodating. We needed a ground floor room because we were traveling with seniors with physical issues. Everything worked out great and having the full kitchen allowed us to work around some diet restrictions and save a little money. The hot tub jets didn't seem to be working but Everything else was great. Local shopping and the ocean is close."

"Good location to be central to Kauai and airport access. Can drive up north or south easily. The rooms were clean but dated. The same with the bathrooms. We came when they were doing updates( may 2026)so areas were closed off to us that would have been nice to utilize when we were there. "The place is just okay, but for the price you pay, it gets disappointing: 1. The room does not match their photo on the website, and it's way off. Double-check user-uploaded photos. There is ocean view in the room for sure. 2. Many corners in the room are obviously overlooked by the cleaning staff, and there's thick dust on surfaces like the top of the mirrors, etc. The hair dryer was all clogged with dust? But the front desk staff was helpful and replaced it with a new one after I brought this...

"Great Beach and Pool"

"The property was very well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had an ocean view from our lanai. The pool was nice and easily accessible. Located in a somewhat central location for island travel. We would stay here again."

"Staff and property conditions were great. The issue I had was that you can hear the room next door clearly, and the people were awake and making noises at 5:00 in the morning. Also, there was no early check in and check out was at 10:00 and there is no flexibility for a late check out. Sadly, this was one of the few places that was not worth the amount paid."
