"Lovely hotel with a character"

"As soon as you enter the hotel, you're being greeted by the friendliest staff. Check in is quick and efficient. Buffet breakfast is well planned out. Rooms are spacious, clean. Housekeeping staff is very helpful, twice daily to see to your needs. Amazing view of the Bosphorus. Long walking trails, right by the water. Lots of other cafes and restaurants to choose from, if you so incline. As a return guest from Canada, I would like to thank everyone at Grand Trabaya Hotel for making my stay...

"Very clean property with helpful and courteous staff. The property is relatively new, well built and maintained. The only issue to mention is the parking garage. Security staff is never at the gate, so every time you want to enter parking, you need to stop at the gate, go find security person, and ask them to open the gate, which is obviously inconvenient. Overall, very happy with my stay and will certainly stay again if I come back to Istanbul."

"Beautiful place to stay, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy and the AC was a lifesaver in the Turkish heat. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. And the cats that hang around out front are simply gorgeous. There is a lovely terrace with ample seating and the hotel is conveniently located near yildiz metro and 10 minutes walk from migroa supermarket and not much further to ortakoy waterfront. Only downsides are that the sink was not draining and on further inspection it...
