"The staff either seemed happy to help or annoyed. There was loud music in the courtyard until shortly after 11pm. Dealing with rowdy students was not fun. If you’re young and want to make friends or meet people then maybe this is the place for you. The fact this is attached to student residences is not great. It was a decent hotel but not somewhere I would want to stay twice."

"From different hotels I've stayed in Florence in the past, I'd say Minerva was the better one. These are what you may notice: roomier lounge, more light, roof top view, and also very educated staff. The room service manager is very smart in timing and the location is less than 10 min walk to Duomo or Uffizzi, and Vecchio, etc. Also if you have car, the area in front of hotel is great for valets or parking, and taxis can come to pick you up easily (specially if want to attend a venue) "

"Our stay at this property was wonderful. The customer service was exceptional and all staff were attentive. The facilities were great and clean throughout the hotel. Our room was immaculate and a great size. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was powerful. The room has sound proofing so we weren’t disturbed at any point. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of variety to choose from including bubbles!!! I would have liked more vegetarian hot options I.e mushrooms, vegetarian sausages etc...

"I chose this hotel because of its location near train terminal. But didn’t realize that I would be able to hear the trains coming and going. Wrong side of the hotel I suppose. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Had a great selection. They also had a complimentary coffee machine in lobby. Was nice, because they offered tea too. Which I had in the evening. "
