"Great location. Helpful front desk and housekeeping staff. The restoration from the fire during the siege lacked charm and warmth. I wish they had tried to restore to something more like it was, more like the Viennese Cafe. Breakfast was good and varied. Coffee was poor. A 5 star hotel should do better than a convenience store coffee machine. I love Sarajevo, but not sure I would stay at the Europa again. "

"Stay was absolutely brilliant. Loved the hotel and the city. Our room got upgraded and the room we had was massive. Very clean, all the staff were lovely and very helpful, as were all the people in Sarajevo. Will definitely be back and we would definitely stay in this hotel again. "The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really good every day. It is worth noting it is close to the city centre but up a very steep hill which may be unsuitable for people with mobility issues. I would personally stay again if I were visiting Sarajevo"

"Hotel is very good and staff is nice and friendly. The location is a bit far from old town and attractions. No Uber service here so you have to rely on taxi or public transportation (there’s a tram #3 going to the old town). Also there’s road construction around the hotel right now so it’s very dusty to walk to the Tram station."
