Price was very competitive but no on site staff and the room was extremely hot (maybe 26 C), the windows only cracked open, and hot staff said they would look into getting us a fan but we never heard back from them over two nights. If you’re looking for a bare bones experience at the best price point possible, this might suffice, but otherwise I would recommend looking elsewhere."

"I have stayed at this hotel many times for work. The staff are really helpful. Breakfast has lots of selection, and is very fresh. My favourite is a bowl of the natural yoghurt with a dollop of the rhubarb compote generously ladeled in there… maybe a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar on top. Heaven. Also, Icelandic bread & butter (“Smjör”) is iconic. You won’t regret putting the diet on hold for Smjör. The bedrooms at Cabin are European, so compact but clean and quiet. "Staff great, food was great, location was easy enough to navigate, but I wasnt expecting a taxi into the city 10 minutes away would cost $30. I loved the amenities, I really just wish they were open longer especially the spa. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. This is my first time in Iceland so I don't have a comparison. I would appreciate more items in the snack area such as souvenirs, a better selection of alcohol, and a microwave. Yes I wish the rooms had a microwave."

"This is a very clean hotel. The breakfast was very good. There was a self check in process which I didn't realize ahead of time and wasn't informed of before I got there. I am actually not sure how I was supposed to get the code but I ended up ringing the bell in the small lobby to get someone to respond. There is also no airport shuttle other than one you can book yourself from a 3rd party. It does stop at the hotel but other than that the hotel doesn't have anything to do with it."
