"I've stayed here a couple of times now and always found the hotel clean and the staff very helpful. As a cricket fan I found the pitch side view very special. "

"Dated furniture and decor. Room was comfortable and clean. Very quiet, you wouldn't think you were only yards from a main road. Ample car parking. Bus stop just outside main gate with plenty of buses into city centre. Breakfast was excellent. "

"Everything about my stay was spot on. Very smooth and easy check in, lovely quiet location and my single room was actually very generous in size and also very comfortable. The breakfast service the following morning was very calm and peaceful and the hot buffet was exactly how I like it. The staff are also very helpful. All in all I will definitely be choosing to stay again"

"Greeted by a pleasant stain member. Flat was clean. Secure parking is a plus. Things could be improved if they had the following, welcome pack giving WiFi details etc, better equipped kitchen I.e tea towel, bin and more crockery, bathroom could do with bath mat and bedroom could do with bedside cabinet with bedside lamp "

"I only write this review as there was no one on reception when I left at 7am. The shower head in room 26 needs replacing, or possibly fixing. It is an odd design which I’ve not seen before but water gushes out from all angles, making it difficult to have a shower whilst the bathroom ends up a watery mess. I only booked an accessible room as it was the cheapest option but anyone with a disability would struggle with this. Urgent fix required for the next occupant. Otherwise the usual comfortable...

"Not a great choice - room was dirty and had to wait for another room , waited until 6pm ?! Over crowded and also full of children, felt more like a nursery /kids drop off than a hotel. Also car park full and overall staff were not friendly and didn’t really seem to care either "

"So i irrived to a bed. Good start. Anne franks attick would be the ritz compared to this. Tv didn't work, heater didn't work, dispite me being advised to plug it in by the lady on reception. This turned out to not be a problem as she worked out how to put the heating on permanently for the next 2 day. Breakfast on the 1st morning wasn’t something id normally spend 7 quid on as it leaked oil from everywhere, i didn't have a 2nd Breakfast as the other guest sitting with his 4 pint cans of Stella...

"I didn't have breakfast. However, whilst the room was tidy the pillows were like concrete blocks. Also the bathroom had damp and fungus because they dont have an extractor fan. The room also are in need of decoration. I paid £89 and i wouldnt say it was worth £30. Disappointed. Whilst the lady on reception was polite and courteous i wont be staying there again. I work in Leeds a few times a year so i will put this on my 'do not use' list of properties."

The room was spotless, everything immaculate, larger than I expected, better equipped (did I mention the hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine?), had all you needed to settle in straightaway - a small bottle of milk in the fridge, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, coffee pods, and even salt and pepper grinders.
