"Decent business class hotel"

"This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are extremely spacious and staff is attentive. The only issue with the hotel is the live music set up in the courtyard that blared on a loud speaker until midnight. We only had the room from 9 pm until 3:30 am due to a flight delay. Not acceptable for people staying in international hotels close to airports that really just want to sleep. "

"The entrance of the room was dirty. The welcome was very poor although the hotel wasn’t crowded + my check in was after rush hour time. No one was there to take the luggage! Until I had to ask for one!! NOT A RITZ EXPERIENCE AT ALL!"

"We stayed here during a very stressful time, as we had to leave Kuwait by land due to the situation in the region. On arrival, Safia and Abrar at reception were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. They made us feel welcome and even arranged a late check-out, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, after our flight was cancelled, we returned after midnight needing another room. The receptionist (Turky) offered us the same room at nearly three times the previous price. When I questioned it, his attitude became unfriendly and unhelpful, despite our difficult situation and traveling with a person with special needs. His comment that the previous staff were nice only because it was our “first stay” was very disappointing. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the door staff and coffee service were excellent. Overall, a good hotel, but service consistency needs improvement. "

"Avoid this hotel. The rooms are old-fashioned, poorly maintained, and have a constant and overwhelming stale cigarette odor that doesn’t go away. Fixtures are worn, cleanliness is inconsistent, and the overall condition feels neglected rather than “premium” as advertised. This is not a minor inconvenience — it directly affects your comfort and basic hygiene during your stay. For the price being charged, the standard is completely unacceptable and does not match what is being promised. If you value a clean, comfortable place to stay, book elsewhere. There are significantly better options available for less money. I was moved rooms twice, with no improvement. I decided to cancel my three night booking and stayed at a different hotel nearby, where the difference was immediate: clean, fresh, and properly maintained (Mercure Riyadh Al Anoud). Despite not using the rooms and checking out the same day, I was refused a refund, losing nearly 2,500 SAR. Their refusal to hear the customer, and robotic referral back to ‘terms & conditions’ fails to take into account the negligence, and made it clear just how low quality this hotel is. Do not risk it — choose another hotel."
