Location is great for all interests From dining and beach days. Liked the closet full of beach items However, the condo was a bit dirty, walls had mud on them and bathrooms fans were filthy

Our stay was great! Easy check in and check out, all contactless by email! Would highly reccommend staying here. You are walking distance to the beach and all the shops and restaurants you could need!

Condo smelled like wet dog. Seems the carpet was washed but it wasn't dried properly. There was still foam blocks under the furnitures. The condo, overall was just old, 50's feel. My siblings stayed in other condos on the same property and theirs were updated. Called in after property management saw a negative review left by me, they claimed they called me the day after check-in to see how things were but I didn't pick up and they left a voicemail. I had no missed calls or voicemail on my cellphone, so they lied. Flight out of Maui was later then originally planned due to airline changes. Requested a late check out and they claim the condo was blocked right after us. They said to call back 3 days before out checkout to see if there was a cancellation. I called 2 days before our checkout and wow, just like that, they said we could do a late checkout but it cost almost $60 to do the late check out. Would have been nice to get the late check out, due to the bad experience so far with the condo. Now, my siblings also did late checkouts and their condo management approved them without any additional fees. So then, all seems fine on our last day and late checkout...oh no! While in the condo, I hear people at the door trying to get in. I thought it was maybe the cleaning crew. I went to look and opened the door to ask what they were doing. The lady said she was the real estate agent showing the condo to her clients and they were there to view the condo. Avoid Maui Condo & Home Mgmt

Great place to stay! Only thing better would be if there was air conditioning in the bedroom as Kihei is very hot and the unit in the living room could not cool down the bedroom!

The complex was well kept, beautiful and directly across the street from the beach. It was walking distance from several restaurants and shops. Ideally located! We stayed at Maui Banyan, G-209. The unit is very dated but that was expected. There were several annoying issues like getting the wrong access code to the door and pool, clogged bathroom sink that was not fixed until the next day, leaking air conditioner, dirty silverware and the clothes dryer just didn’t dry clothes completely. But Maui itself was beautiful!

the oroperty is well located and that the unit was more than adequate for our family of 5. the unit had beach chairs and umbrellas which really improved the vacation for us no end. We had a fantastic family vacation and teh quality of the unit played a large part in that.

Our condo had everything we needed including cookware, beach chairs, mask and snorkels, beach chairs and towels. We were thrilled with it, it was recently renovated as well. Nice beach right across the street where we saw green sea turtles right there along the rocks to the left in the water. Driving distance to all the wonderful things Maui offers! Be sure to check out Paia fish market south up the street and also the natural food market where you can buy ready made sandwiches and snacks for the beach.

After arriving, the front office told us they had no reservation for our family. After some panick and back and forth, we discovered a separate management company had the reservation. It was extremely confusing and had not been notified this would be the case.

We had a really good time. The place is next to the beach. they have everything that u need. The only thing that i didnt like was the cockroach but thats normal when you live in a tropical area so its not a big deal. Otherwise they allow us to stay longer and they were easy to talk to.

We loved the location of this condo... right across from the beach and there are a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Wailea is also close by. If you arrived back at the condo late, parking was tough to find. Outdoor grilling area by the pool was very nice. Condo was clean, had everything we needed, and was reasonably priced. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Maui Banyan managed by 2 different organizations

It was unclear that Maui Banyan was run by two different organizations (Aston and Maui Condo and Home) and they have two different check-in processes. I was confused and initially tried to check in at the Aston office. Aston properties run like a hotel while Maui Condo and Homes properties were run like a condo rental with less service (but with also no resort fee).

We enjoyed the location but our 4th floor condo had a non-functional hide-a-bed, which we needed as we'd booked the room for 3 adults and 2 kids. We also had and a crummy view into the parkade. The room decor was nice and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, dishes, and even basic spices. The air-conditioner was too loud to run at night in the living room and no conditioner in the master bedroom. If you're thinking of renting here ask about these details.

Enjoyed Maui Banyon across street from Kam 2 Beach

Suite was somewhat cluttered yet in order and contained many things essential. It was comfortable and clean, but not sanitary and shining. It had a washer and dryer, but no safe - Room service such as check out expectations together with cleaning schedule was blurry, Our 2 bdrm suite was across from a parking garage, so commotion and vehicle lights were existent through the night and into early morning as crowds come and go, especially driving to watch sunrise. If you require assistance, no one is there to assist, front desk is on hand for Aston Resort guests only. Instead of renting a car, we used Turtle Trax to get around Kihei, our teenage girls really enjoyed as they could come and go on their own. The hot tub (very small, popular and over crowded) and pool area together with many BBQ's in the area were appreciated - If you're early it's a lovely addition and amenity.

The condo was dark, No view. 3 foot outside area

Unfortunately, we did not get what we requested (a light, bright condo with a pleasant outside area). I believe there are such condos available in this complex. It appears that you cannot count on having your requests met. It is important to me to know what accommodation I will be receiving previous to arriving. I would definitely "not" recommend the Maui Banyan. Maui Condos and Homes definitely did not meet our expectations.

Misleading Condo Ad

Your advertisement should show which ACTUAL condo is being rented. When we were finally confirmed details of the condo (3 days before arrival), we were told it was a ground floor unit. Again, when we spend this kind of money, it would be nice to know exactly what the unit looks like at the time of booking.

Great location, well maintained. Our condo was G410, the layout was great but outdated and the chest of drawers were so full of useless linens we had no place for clothes, the pantry had no room for food and one of the ceiling fans did not work unless you held the wire just the right way. We would still stay again but might try for a different condo.
