"The pool was icy cold. The shower was a just little bit warm almost cold. Foam plates are not acceptable for hot breakfast food. The door key worked after 5-8 attempts. Breakfast didn’t have any meat. The room didn’t have closet or hangers for jackets."

"Location was ideal. We were visiting our son in Peosta who lives in College Suites. The hotel was within walking distance. Price was decent. This hotel is in desperate need of upkeep. The room smelled musty and there was no air flow. The bathroom was disgusting, urine on the base of the toilet and behind the seat. Toilet also leaked so the floor was always wet. The towels were tiny and felt like sandpaper. We stayed for four nights and were not checked in on or offered towels, room cleaning once. We attempted to request towels and could not reach anyone by phone, we stopped by the front desk a number of times and no one was there. We requested a second blanket and the one we received was dirty and stained. The pool is closed, seems like indefinitely. My son stayed there in January and it was closed then as well. Breakfast is bare minimum, no protein if any sort-not even a few yogurt cups or hard boiled eggs. Unfortunately, it’s the only option in Peosta. If you don’t mind a short drive, Dubuque may have better options."

"Waterpark was closed, so that was a bummer and not advertised on Expedia. But the main concern, was the fire alarm went off at 3am and the entire hotel had to evacuate. There was something wrong with the alarm in my room, as it emitted a typical loud fire alarm sound-but for some reason, it also emitted an extremely high pitch sound that was the loudest thing i have ever heard in my life. As I write this the next day, my ears are still ringing horribly. The sound of the alarm after 5 mins of trying to frantically get out of the building while cupping my ears in my room, likely has done permanent damage to my hearing in some Level. I mentioned it to the front desk the next day and told Then that if a baby or child was in that room, it could have serious permanent hearing loss. They gave a “sorry, we will get someone to check it out. Take care.” I come to Dubuque often, but will not Come back here -only because of the damage to my ringing ears."

"Entrance has a handicap push button for door to open automatically which was not working (neither the outside push button nor the one inside to get to the lobby. The room had wall plugs that had only a bottom plug working - the top plug did not work. The bathroom had gouges out of the molding at the bottom and there were signs of mold. Listed as a 'full breakfast' it included a round patty of supposed scrambled eggs and greasy sausage. The hotel double-billed my stay on my American Express card. All in all - not a great just barely ok experience."

"I mean it's a $50ish dollar a night hotel (when we stayed). The breakfast was ok, the room had a bit of a funky smell, but you get what you pay for. "

"Pool area was very crowded, the hot tub was packed with kids. No toys are allowed in the pool at all. Very short staffed.Breakfast very basic.Elevator out of order and because the hotel charged me for early check in and shouldn’t have it took 2 hours to get checked in."
