"The staff were great, really friendly, happy to help, chatty and gave us a nice evening. Really pretty setting, we could watch the water from our room, the room itself was really nicely decorated, we had cute dog themed touches, nice and clean, we couldn’t say anything bad about it. "

The room we stayed in could do with a bit of an upgrade in the bathroom and a freshen up but it was still a nice enough stay. Food was beautiful, dining room was very clean and nicely presented. Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room. "The staff were outstanding, from the guys on reception through to the breakfast staff. The rooms were lovely, clean and welcoming, the fridge was an added bonus. Breakfast was great, everything you could have ask for, they had a waffle machine that made the most delicious blueberry waffles. The location is perfect, 1 minute walk to the thermal spa and shops and the other direction pubs and restaurants We found the hotel to be very quiet not just the location but clientele. "

"Almost outside the front drive there are bus stops which is handy as The Tyndall is located on a steepish hill leading to Bear Flat above Bath where there are local shops and a pub. quite easy on the eye. It's nicely decorated throughout and kept very clean. Our room was on the ground floor and fitted with a kingsize Hypnos bed which was very comfortable indeed. The staff are very attentive and keen to help. "

The location is also good proving the opportunity to walk down to the town, with the option to walk back or take the bus which stops right outside the door. Will we return - YES"
