"AC was broken in common areas and not expected to be fixed for days. TV didn’t work in our room and front desk told us there was nothing they could do. Also, they ran out of pillows."

"For a quick stayover, this hotel is efficient and comfortable. The front desk staff was excellent -- very friendly and accommodating when I had a maintenance issue. I had to switch rooms because the shower only had HOT water, so that was disappointing and inconvenient, but they took care of it quickly. There was a goody bag with cold water and cookies and chips. Nice! Breakfast was an extensive impressive spread. The bed was super comfortable. Good value."

"Our stay was disappointing due to several issues that were never resolved during our visit. Upon arrival, we discovered that the hot water was not working, and we only had access to ice-cold water for the entirety of our stay. We notified staff, who assured us they would keep us updated and expected the issue to be fixed that evening, but unfortunately it never was. The air conditioner ran continuously but did little to cool the room, and the mini refrigerator was also not functioning properly,...

"While I received a text with check-in instructions, no one was there to check me in. The room was clean, quiet, and adequately cool on a very hot day/night. This was my second time at the Brick; I'd stay here again."

"If you have no choice, you are better off sleeping in your car. The headboard fell on my husband's head, and behind the board, we found bugs running around. Then the next room smelled terribly of cigarettes, although we specifically requested and paid for a non-smoking room. When we complained, they basically told us to deal with it."
