"Although it’s not that close to the beach, the hotel is charming and well maintained. The room is comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was beautiful--with a renovated large bathroom=dual sinks and massive shower area
A beautiful pool that overlooks the Pacific was incredible and the water is clear and refreshing
The resort sits on the edge of the jungle, and is a short walk to town
Highly recommend "

"Customer service here was attentive and friendly. The attached cafe is excellent. The pool was always clean and a good temp, and the locations is fantastic. The only things to keep in mind are that you will hear roosters starting at 4am and they will crow until aprox 10pm and there is currently construction next door but they wait till 8am to start so it wasn’t much of a bother for us."
"Loved my stay at Marakame. The room was big and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Housekeeping did a great job and everything was very clean. The front desk staff we are all incredible and super accommodating. I loved the pool and the hotel overall had a chill vibe. I also really liked the location as it was in a quiet area but not a far walk to everything. Would highly recommend. "
"We love our stay here, loved the restaurant onsite, quick walk to the beach, walk to town, beautifully maintained, warm pool! We’d stay here again for sure…"
