"We were amazed with the condition of this 100-year-old property! The functional areas are beautifully and tastefully restored and the traditional areas are perfectly maintained. All staff members were extremely friendly and professional, and they were eager to assist in every request. Front office staff, maid service, baggage handlers, restaurant staff were all exceptional. Our stay could not have been better, unless it had been much longer!!"

"Our room is extremely dirty, and made no efforts to give a new room or partial refund. Our bathroom is fairly small, but the worst part was that our shower was extremely unsafe. As soon as you stepped in you just felt it sink, like it wasn't being supported at the bottom. I was a very afraid. The water pressure was great however. Bathroom was clean and well suppled with soap, shampoo & conditioner; the tub’s faucet hardware needed to be fixed or replaced but it worked, it was just loose about a half inch sticking out from the wall. I felt like 2 free cocktails and nachos in the evening and a good breakfast every morning was very generous, although we didn’t stick around in the evenings for cocktails because we were so close to so much to do."
