"This hotel had the feel of an old 1980s hotel that had been poorly maintained over the years by the owners. The room was clean but on our second morning we weren't able to have a shower because the shower didn't work. The tap water was also like an oven while the beds were like rocks. Despite promising wi-fi this too was non-existent. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok but during our stay there was always a feeling of what was going to go wrong next."

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting with great views over the surrounding countryside and a well maintained golf course. Our room was fairly basic and a little shabby which we expected to be more polished for the price paid. The restaurants were good, particularly the breakfast, included in our rate, which had a good selection and was great value for money. "Staff were all so helpful and nice. Nothing was too much. The WiFi was not great the first night but has improved since. Food was good though perhaps needs to expand the menu a bit. They use local produce as much as possible which is excellent . Towels and bed linen were good quality and beds and pillows comfortable too. Would very definitely stay here again."

"Rooms were very dated and cleanliness was not at a reasonable standard at all, bed linen was dirty, dust on every surface, walls mouldy and cracked and full of dust.
