"Exactly what I needed for a relaxed evening and best sleep I’ve experienced in a long time. From the incredibly helpful and supportive staff member who checked me in and the lovely gentleman who checked me, and the senior member of staff who helped me move my (excessive for the stay!) luggage from my room to reception ready to load up into the car to the happy, ever helpful and polite restaurant staff at breakfast and the light and airy breakfast room partnered with the outside, tables under sun...

"Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy, facilities and bar excellent. Bar food was good. Breakfast was a quite disappointing and I wish I had just gone for a Starbucks coffee and croissant instead as that is inside the hotel."

"Barton’s Mill was a fantastic find. Very friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast. We liked the fact the rooms were separate from the pub and easily accessible. Situated in a beautiful area. Easy access to M3. Would definitely recommend. "

"Two night stay with my brother whilst attending Goodwood Festival of speed. Staff all very helpful and very accommodating to our needs. Food: standard pub menu good but not brilliant. Weather very hot and so the terrace was very welcome. Room excellent."

"Our host Jenny was brilliant. There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well. The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure. Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help. Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton. "

"Great short stay. Our room oozed character and history, enhanced by top quality fittings. Bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. Complimentary bottles(!) of gin and whisky and the posh shower toiletries topped it all off."
