Lovely hotel & great breakfast.

Checked in very late but staff were still around, helpful and friendly. Breakfast has to be one of the best I have ever had and would love to come back if I'm in the area again.

Good No-Frills Stay

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and I was very disappointed to find no real ale on draught as there has been in the past. The food is good though and although the rooms are starting to look a little 'tired' they are comfortable enough. The paint appeared to be peeling of the wardrobe in my room but that was cleared up after my first night.

Very pleasant and comfortable hotel where the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good full English with cereals, fruit juice, fresh coffee, croissants etc. We ate in on our first night and although the menu is limited there should be something for everyone

We stayed here for one night on the way home from Cornwall as wanted to visit Jane Austen museum. Parking was easy, check in was quick and our evening meal and breakfast were lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable, although a bit dusty. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Would stay again.
