"The kitchen is marvelous!
The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable.
Any communication difficulties were on my end, because we were traveling when the hostess tried to communicate with me."
"The Diamond Suites were fantastic—a perfect, relaxing place to stay for our last night! The staff were wonderful and made sure everything went perfectly. Great stay!"
"Great, family friendly boutique hotel away from the city hustle and bustle. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying there again in the future."

Keflavik is not a large city. Local stores are more for meeting practical needs than cute boutiques. The famous Blue Lagoon is a short 15 min drive away, and Reykjavik is 40 mins away. This is a great fort for your trip.

Small town, not much there behind the airport. You need a car to visit Reykjavík, the Blue Lagoon, etc

"This is a beautiful boutique hotel that made us feel at home from the moment we walked in, we made reservations for a lovely dinner, and went to bed on a very comfortable bed for an early flight in the morning. Highly recommend."
"The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bar/restaurant staff were helpful and pleasant. The evening meal was enjoyed by everyone in our party. "
"The staff was great! We arrived early because we had just gotten off a cruise ship. They stored our luggage so we could do the things we had planned. Then we were able to check in a bit early since the room was ready. "
"This was a lovely little find in Keflavík. Comfortable, no frills, right beside the sea. And the kindness shown to me by the owners was just lovely. "
