"Nice and clean hotel. Ideally located 7 minutes drive from the airport and facing small marina. Excellent restaurant although expensive ( but most restaurants are expensive in Iceland). Breakfast though is a good deal ( 19US$). Very copious and varied ( boiled egg, fruit salad, smoked salmon, skir yogourt with fruits, bread and croissants). Well worth the price. Small heated pool. Nice lobby area. Spacious rooms and big bathroom with walk-in shower. Friendly staff."

"Perfect for a basic overnight layover. I'd stay again. The taxi driver didn't know about the free shuttle part though, so we paid full price for the ride. I did message the hotel to give them our information to arrange the shuttle/taxi before the trip started but the hotel said to just call the taxi. So one small hitch, but a good stay overall."

"We stayed at Hotel KEF the night before leaving the country. Be advised there is not an airport shuttle but the staff will arrange transportation upon request. There were a few broken items in our bathroom, the shower heard holder and a light switch. We arrived early as we were moving between locations, they have a place for luggage storage but if want or need your room sooner than the 3pm check in, there’s a charge (20 Euro/Hr). "Very easy to check in, clean and modern WC units, pods themselves were not claustrophobic because of fairly tall ceiling. The kitchen with fantastic coffee machine and even air fryer was very much appreciated."

"The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. We opted for the Sapphire suite with access to the hot tub. (side note- this is advertised as being private, but it is on a shared balcony with no dividers). We also chose to include breakfast and that was wonderful. There were many hot and cold food options and a good variety of beverages as well. Great offering especially when traveling with kids. You should absolutely visit the spa if you get a chance. It was the best way to end our trip....

"We took the FlyBus from the airport and this hotel is a drop off point. It is also a pick up and drop off of the tour company for the day trips we took around Iceland."

"Decor of the room is sleek, new design, no aircond, need to open up window for cold air to come in. The problems are in between walls no soundproof. I could hear my upstairs running jumping after 11pm. My next wall tv noise, other side wall talkg. At 1am +, i was awaken by noises chasing northern lights outside my windows."
