When I booked the hotel months in advance from my trip the check in staff were extremely helpful offering support for excursions and everything, I was super happy! Comfortable since it was the first time coming to Cappadocia with my daughter. Besides they instigate a bit of fear that you’d pay for activities and people wouldn’t show up for it. But Once at the hotel I realize that their prices were WAY above the prices you see in town for the same activities, the WHOLE town offers tours and activities for much reasonable prices. I booked 2 private tours which I understand the prices were going to be higher, when arrive since the tour it was private they had “no plan” to go to places and I could “decide” where to go. But since I paid a private tour to take me places I did not look for places to go since they were going to “take care of it”. I did my research after the first day (which btw only lasted like 4 hours) and the second day I wanted to go to a specific place and they just told me it was going to take too much time so we didn’t ended up going. Tour started at 10am and by 2pm they were already trying to drop you off for the day."
