Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "Unfortunately this property did not meet expectations and was grossly overpriced. The Japanese style room was very dated but a nice size. Good AC. The food was great and there were a lot of options. The property needed to be cleaned and updated. The area outside of the property is shocking. It is filled with abandoned buildings that are various states of disrepair. It felt unsafe. Transportation wasn’t great. I booked the bus- which is said to be an amenity- only to learn we had to pay getting off. Good thing I had cash. People were nice but I’d never go back."
