"The hotel is well located within Lyndhurst and for the New Forest. Staff are polite and friendly, there is large car park for the hotel. Good Breakfast, from continental to full English. Our room was clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed. "

"Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!"

"We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."

"The hotel facilities, the dining, the staff were all absolutely fine. The room, however, was on 2 levels with even a step down on entry. Awkward. It was situated at the front of the building over some sort of service room with a generator or boiler that emitted a constant drone all through the night. Occasionally it would cut out only to re-start a short while later. As a result we had very little sleep. The noise could be heard outside the building as well; and of course it carries more at...

"Daisybank cottage is a must for anyone looking to stay in the New Forest. The room was perfect - spacious, spotless and huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Lovely touches in the room and so thoughtful. Great breakfast and friendly welcome. Its perfect for various walks without the car to get to start points, and close to pubs and eateries nearby. "We truly had an amazing stay at Balmers Lawn! We got a really good deal for Easter weekend, and it exceeded expectations on every level. The room was only classified as "standard" yet it was huge, lovely big bathroom, and they had put Easter Craft in the room for the kids. "A nice room if a little on the small side. Lovely staff. The one drawback here is the food. Very expensive and slightly below ‘adequate’. As an example a meat sharing plate was £48 but had a couple of normal sausages, 2 eggs, small bit of chicken and 3 tiny steak chunks. So disappointed by the food that we cancelled our dinner reservation. If you are staying just for the rooms though they a good location. "
