The outside is deceptive, not having great curb appeal, but the rooms are modern and spotless with comfortable beds, good quality sheets, and large tvs. The staff are pleasant and efficient, breakfast is adequate, and amenities include a pool table, e-bikes and kayaks. "The hosts were very accommodating to our late arrival. They also provided an excellent breakfast in our room the next morning - my wife had a delicious omelette and I had the “Dutch Baby”, so good! We stayed in the Library Room, very comfy and cosy. Close to Victoria Airport. I highly recommend a night or romantic weekend here. "

"We love the Latch for so many reasons! Location = quiet (heard owls early this morning). History = it’s a unique structure and story. Hospitality = by FAR the best breakfast you will ever have included in your stay. Eggs Benny or omelet, the freshest, sweetest fruit, high quality bacon. The STAFF, go above and beyond in every way. And to top it all off, pets are welcome, a small dog park is nearby. Our dog gets pretty excited when she sees we are going to the Latch! "

"Enjoyed my stay. It was a bucket list item! It was clean! It was quiet. There are robes and I love dark towels! The bed is warm with a firm mattress. At home I have a 4 inch memory foam topper, so a firm mattress was a very different sleep for me.
My favorite was having a seal swim by as I was having my morning coffee!
The Mexican restaurant is open through winter which is lovely! It’s steps away from the front door!

"The staff were lovely....friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating.
The rooms were very nice, comfortable and very clean.
It is the 1st time in our lives, that we have ever had a call from the front desk shortly after checking in, to ask us if we were happy with the room and if there was anything that we needed. Very classy!
