"Lovely Swiss hotel with atttentive staff. Room was very nice - comfy bed, lots of pillows. The AC worked wonderfully despite temps over 90°F and being on the fifth floor. Great breakfast. Proximity to public transportion was key for our busy, compressed schedule and so easy to use. The BaselPass saved us hundreds of dollars on cabs. "

"It is wonderful! On the Rhine! The rooms are beautiful and the restaurant is outstanding! I had a wonderful plate of Wiener schnitzel and my wife and daughter had fish and loved it. The waiter who served us, originally from Croatia spoke excellent German and what not only a good waiter, he was very funny too. I highly recommend the Waldhaus!"

"This very comfortable hotel caters to businesses. There are a lot of nice touches- like high tech elevators that both work and make sense, USB plugs where you need them, blinds that automatically deploy when the sun shines on the windows, and thoughtful lighting throughout. The rooms were clean, and furnishings were like new. The breakfast buffet was good, and cooked to order eggs came out quickly. "It was nice that there is a reserved parking space for a small fee. Walkable area with plenty of shops and restaurants. Our room was updated and renovated. Very helpful and friendly staff. "
