Top Kawakami Hotel Reviews

Dormy Inn Kofu Natural Hot Spring

8/10 Good

"The air conditioning unit was difficult to use. The room was too cold and the remote control didn't help."

Fuefukigawa Onsen Zabou

10/10 Excellent

"I saw someone share photos of this Onsen on instagram and had to see if they had rooms available. I’m so glad I did! The property is stunning, the staff are incredibly warm and kind, and the food was exceptional. I got a room with a balcony over the fish pond and a private bath and I enjoyed every second of my stay. I will absolutely come back the next time I am in Japan. The trip from Tokyo was about an hour by train, and the Onsen has shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off when you leave"

Japanese Onsen Ryokan KOHAKUEN

10/10 Excellent

"This inn is in a very convenient location- it’s very central. Easy cab or Uber ride from the station, or easy enoigh to take a bus. 5 minutes from Kenrokuen. Be aware this is a Japanese style inn with shared toilet facilities and a shared Japanese style bathroom. The shower / bath is open each evening but not in the morning. The bathroom door does lock so you do have privacy. The innkeeper and family live on site and are very welcoming and friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage for a short time after check out. They were also helpful witj specific restaurant recommendations. If you want a genuine Japanese ryokan"

Tateshina Tokyu Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"What a delightful stay at this fantastic hotel!!! Amazing location, superb rooms and views, delicious food, all perfect. Very local crowd that comes to rest and enjoy nature. Get up early, and go to bed early after a nice dinner at the hotel or restaurant nearby. We tried the French and enjoyed chatting with the Chef. Really nice evening. Families welcome as plenty to do in the Park. Top visit and lovely hotel."
