Top Kaunakakai Hotel Reviews
The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali
10/10 Excellent
"Great for kids"
Hilton Vacation Club Ka'anapali Beach Maui
10/10 Excellent
"Loved almost everything about the hotel. Maybe we got lucky. Partial ocean view and large balcony. Furniture was in good shape. Great location, Times Supermarket (much better than Safeway prices) and ABC Store with Deli (delicious, reasonably priced, cooked Prime Rib lunch or dinners to go) are walking close, good beach for snorkeling (a bit rough near a channel which has a warning sign), fun water slide, pool and miniature golf course. Nice coffee maker, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and nearby free to use clothes washer and dryer. The room even had an electric rice cooker and large hot plate tray with lid that cooked bacon, eggs and hash browns fine. Steaks too, but there are BBQ grills u can use outside the hotel near the beach entrance. Minor quibble is no small boxes of laundry detergent in the room for clothes washing and the supermarkets only have regular size boxes which is too big for those staying a week. Also, most parking spaces are tight even for compact cars and if u have to park on the lower level, u will need to walk up some stairs to the upper parking level to catch the elevators. Only if u are planning to hit Whaler’s Village often to mostly window shop would I recommend u stay at a hotel within walking distance of that shopping center. Parking there is expensive unless u buy or eat there. Maui is still the best! Even if there is no “Lahaina” yet, but they did save the tree and are trying to restore the old courthouse."

Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas
10/10 Excellent
"We love the Maui Kaanapali Villas! It is quiet (very important to us), right on the beach--you walk out your door and you are steps from the water, the convenience of condo living with the combination of an onsite restaurant when we need it. The morning coffee service is lovely as well."
