"This was a very comfortable hotel lots of space in the 2 bdrm suite but I didn’t quite like how far the pool was. And the pool area didn’t feel clean enough."
"The property was beautiful but you can tell it needs a little TLC. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. Our favorite part was the Dolphin experience, lagoon and pool. I do think they need security or supervision at the pool in the evenings. Lots of older kids climbing all over the bridges and pool equipment to jump into the pool. It made night swimming kind of a bummer."
"The beach is the best. Just about all negative aspects of the property are measured against the gorgeous water and wonderful beach. The room was a bit dated. Carpet looked tired, small roaches in bathroom sink area. The fat foam pillows are uncomfortable. They also put us in a room for disabled individuals but we were too tired to argue after three flights and a long rental drive at that point. The buffet is very good and staff are excellent. We don’t spend a lot of time in the room so no big deal in the room critique. BUT at 1k per day for a suite, it’s worth mentioning the rooms look tired."
Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Tower Waikoloa Village
8/10 Good
"I have stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village a few times with my family and we absolutely love it. The room at the ocean tower we stayed in needs a bit updating. But overall we love the resort. We would come back again. I recommend it!"
"It is an excellent resort. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Room is spacious. At the end of my stay, there was a cockroach running in the bathroom."
"Rooms were clean and easily accommodated our group of 5 with a full kitchen available. We enjoyed playing the golf course too. This is our 2nd stay and we plan to come again."
"Absolutely loved everything about the Fairmont Gold experience. I would sincerely recommend staying with a Fairmont Gould, as there was an amazing breakfast, great staff, own concierge, nicer floor.. the food options for breakfast or actually a great money saver with really high-quality food versus going to the restaurants.
Amazing food options at the hotel, great amenities. Snorkeling in the lagoon with sea turtles and hundreds of tropical fish. Luau on property."
