The front desk was hit or miss, with little communication among them (the taxi we'd asked to be available wasn't ordered). Also spotty outages of internet and hot/cold water. Our room hadn't been vacuumed before our arrival, or at all during our 7 day stay."

"I was pleasantly surprised with my room, the beautiful bathroom. It was a lovely, very comfortable stay. A convenient walk to Jefferson outpatient center, was easy and safe. Then I returned for continental breakfast which was more than adequate. I loved the vegan cranberry cookie. The staff were super friendly and pleasant. This was a gem to be able to stay here, thank you, I hope to stay here again in the future. "

"Booked a suite for a short family vacation. Everything looked fine at first, but then by late night, it became clear that our stay will be ruined. The hotel is located on a very busy street with a bus stop right under the windows. We were surprised to find out that there are big gaps running around the windows which allow for most of the outside noise to penetrate the suite. We could hear the voices on the street, the announcements on the buses, clanking of a metallic plate down the road, -...

"The bedding I was given was gray instead of white, worn and frayed at the edges, the room smelled and was extremely musty I'm certain from other travelers. But I could no stay there, I was willing to lose the cost of the room and stay at a nearby hotel for 10xs the amount. "

"King Room was nice. Clean and orderly. The restaurant has a lot to be desired. Tried it for dinner after a long day. Not many options on the menu. Ordered a burger and was told the grill was not working so no burgers. Ordered a cheesesteak, guess that wasnt grilled, we're in Philly right? What could go wrong? It was as hard as a brick and totally inedible! Additionally from the fancy drink menu I wanted to order a mixed drink and was promptly told there was only beer and wine that night....

"This property is a very DIY type situation. If it saves you a bunch of money and that's what you're looking for, with decent accommodations and character it's great. But, if you're looking for pampering, this ain't it. We enjoyed our stay as we were not looking to break the bank and had the kids with us. But, we did not have hot water in the shower which would have been a deal breaker if we'd stayed more than one night."
