The portal they send you is extensive questioning, It was a lot but I liked that they were careful who they rented to. The spiral staircase is WAY Too easy the bang you head shoulder etc into and should have plastic order covering the metal edges and screws/bolt etc We had a bloody head injuring as a result. Proximity of the dining table made getting around it and the staircase very tight. Issues with the electronic lock several times which left us stranded in the hall twice. It says it’s a smokeless property yet unit smelled like smoke/ pot most of the time. Oh and they provide a noise machine and ear plugs, that they make no mention of needing in the listing. Not enough comfortable seating for4 in the living area. They provided plenty of towels linens and kitchen products and coffee, which was nice

The unit was clean, but could use a few more towels and toilet paper. The location is excellent with the exception of parking. There is no on-street parking at all and the nearest reasonably priced surface lot is a 15 minute walk away. However we expected that from previous reviews and luckily secured a spot in advance of arrival. The "damage deposit" was not revealed when I selected this property, and I probably would not have booked had I known about it.

The property is in a great location in Old City and is clean and well-maintained. My unit had little natural light and check in was bumpy. The lock was damaged and I couldn’t enter the first night after a long day of travel. Staff were responsive and helpful via text and phone both after the lock out and a loud tenant upstairs.

Unless you’re desperately needing a place to stay, skip this one. Unless you’re super budget conscious, skip this one. They couldn’t offer me early check-in and then had the audacity to not only say no to the early check-in (I was going to pay the fee), they told me I wouldn’t be able to check in until 5:45. Check-in is at 4pm. My question was when were you going to tell me that? I have things to do. Your code also doesn’t work until 4 pm so if you want to store your belongings in the locker, they need to let you in the building. There are 6 tiny lockers that only fit a carry on and two were broken. I’m lucky there was one even available. Our bathroom was filled with mold all over the shower. Literally looks like it’s never been washed - the way it was dirty was 100% a buildup over time. My wash rag had a hole in it, lol. Their saving grace was that the customer reps Sophie and Queenie were nice over the phone / text. Because of my threats housekeeping prioritized my room so it’s ready at 4. I’m not sure why I gotta get mad for the building to deliver what their website says. Don’t bother unless you’re desperate. I was ready to book a hotel but didn’t want to cost my payment.

Clean modern studio apartment in a great location in the city. I appreciated the bedroom/bathroom having its own door from the living room/kitchen. Parking was difficult until I realized the SoSuite portal has a Parking button that takes you to Spot Hero's website where you can find a spot to book close to the property, that was great. The biggest issue with the specific unit we were put in (1 bedroom apartment) is that it happened to be the only room in the entire building with its own entrance from the sidewalk. I didn't not see anything in the listing noting this. Additionally, the front door from the sidewalk was not secure at all. After check-in, we lock the door to go out for a bite and with a gentle pull you could crack the door open at the bottom. It's hard to explain: imagine the door's lock is at the top, but when you pull, you could crack it open from the bottom and the light from inside would shine onto the street. Super stressful considering we had a dog with us. It felt like it wouldn't take much force to rip the door off. I texted the property management with the phone number they provided me asking if there's a way to secure it better and did not get a reply. Ultimately it was fine because the neighborhood felt safe, but they should really fix this. Other people checking into the hotel the first night tried entering our unit because our private door is not clearly marked from the main building door where the other units are. Fun!
