"New hotel was very modern, clean and staff was very nice. Within walking distance of the old town and we found an excellent restaurant nearby (Vinho e Noz). Only complaint was shower drain wasn’t unclogged and soap wasn’t refilled after reporting the problem. "

"Lovely hotel and great value. Walkable to all of the sites and safe garage parking included. We did not use the pool, but it looks beautiful. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again for sure! "

"Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a bit small but we'll appointed and very comfortable. The hotel itself is just beautiful with amazing stone works and art. The pool on the roof top was stunning with beautiful 360 degree views over the city. The included breakfast buffet was outstanding and one of the best we've ever had. Loved this place!!"

"The room was small but comfortable, the staff was helpful and it is within the village walls, handy to the historic sites. We skipped their breakfast and found a nice coffee/pastry shop near the market. We opted for their garage parking which proved to be the right decision."

"Lovely character hotel with lots of charm and history! The staff at reception were excellent and very helpful. Our room was a good size with a big wardrobe, desk, and windows. The bathroom was also a good size with a shower and tub. Very quiet for sleeping. The hotel breakfast had lots of food options and was in a grand dining room or out on the terrace. We would absolutely come back to this hotel! "

"Breakfast was an add on that we opted out of, so cannot comment on that. But the location was close to the square and convenient to everything we needed. The hotel is down a very tight alley, so the taxi dropoff and pickup are a bit of a walk to a wider street - this wasn't an issue for us, but note it in case. Would stay again. "
