"The carpet in our room had not been vacuumed, there were food crumbs on the floor. We wanted to check in 15 minutes early and were charged 15 pounds. I felt that was a little high of a charge for 15 minutes. "

The room was clean and compact.Space is an issue particularly in the shower/toilet.The toilet itself is at an awkward angle in the corner which I imagine would not be easy to use especially...

"Well the hotel is pleasant and characterful. The heating was stuck on in the room with only a small window to open. Unbearable poor nights sleep. On complaining nothing could be done apparently so we were moved to another room. Which was much better. "

One negative that we experienced was when we arrived we waited for a while before anyone came and when they did they simply gave us our key, told us our room and that was it. No warmth, not very friendly and was a bit of a shame. Left us both thinking it was a bit off. Other than that, the hotel was lovely. "

If only all hotels were like this hotel. Definetely deserve to win a Tourism Awards for this area. As for the room, the word 'Wow' comes to mind! We heard no noise at all despite there being a wedding function on. "

"We stayed over Easter to be near family. The room was nice enough for the price. The only small issue that we had was that the laundry trolleys were parked right outside our window for the whole weekend so wasn’t the best of views. Other than that, all good. "
