Convenient location, very reasonably priced, friendly staff, clean and well equipped. Decent, comfortable bar offering a good choice of bar food. The accommodation was a little dated in areas, however would 100% recommend this hotel over one of the larger, more expensive chain options.

We managed to park outside which was great very useful. We got there a little bit early but Diane at the reception desk was fantastic. We got all booked in up in the room off to adventure in the Docklands. The room was lovely and tidy. Very neat everything that you needed very warm had to open the window but all the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay there again I think they’re a fantastic location and absolutely brilliant staff. Thanks for a wonderful day Cliff.

The best hotel. It was very elegant. Rooms were beautiful and decor was just amazing. The library was quiet and had a lot of books. The hotel was initially a home for retired sailors, then turned into a hotel. It was so beautiful worth interesting things everywhere to look at. Beds were excellent and rooms very clean. Highly recommended
