"Rooms were clean, quiet and had everything you needed. This hotel is room only. You have a key for the front door to come in and out and key for your room. There is a number to contact the owners but only saw them when checking in. Rooms provide tea/coffee and bottled water. It’s a no nonsense hotel which has everything you need in your room for your stay."

"Absolutely wonderful accomodation. Comfortable bed, clean amenities, exceptionally cosy. Check in was easy, with info forwarded the morning of, so we could just get in, get the keys, and be on with our day. The proprietor let us check out later for a good price as my partner was unwell and needed extra time to recover. We appreciate the exceptional hospitality."

"Firstly, on arrival the allocated bays all had bollards on. I called up and a staff member eventually came out and removed this. Parking is literally opposite the hotel and at £15 a night - till 1pm the following day I was told. Checking in was very easy - I did note the staff member asked if they could do anything for me. They were genuinely nice. My room was named after a place I think which I thought was quite cool. I headed up to my room, which initially felt like a maze. I was put in a...

"The small double room (322) we had has windows facing an inner yard where the large metal cooking vent/hoods are located. The room has no aircon and we were provided with 2 floor fans but in the heatwave they were hardly effective and the windows had no breeze. The bathroom is compact and only useable for one person at a time. Rooms decorated well and in good repair, plenty of lighting options including under wall mounted side tables. Hallway floors were uneven - lumpy and bumpy carpet."

"I booked a room specifically for the air conditioning on the two hottest nights of the week. I booked the room through Expedia and checked and double checked that the room was listed as having air conditioning. When I arrived I was told the room did not have air conditioning and none were available. I had no other option to stay on such short notice and could not have got a refund anyway as it was booked through a third party. This is completely unacceptable and, quite frankly, unforgivable."
