"Pros: The owner and staff on site were so sweet and so helpful. Monkeys were all over the property which was so cool. The complementary breakfast was simple but very good. The location was very central, so getting to most places in quepos/manuel antonio was a 15 minute drive at maximum. They also offer a free tour guide for manuel antonio park, and a 50% discount at a local indian restaurant (i forgot the name, sorry) Cons: The rooms were a little more run down than the photos advertised, but...

"We stayed only one night, but it was a clean and charming little place. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the optional breakfast was delicious. Perfect to start us on the right foot for the rest of our adventure!"

"There was a significant amounts of ants on the floor of the hotel room. The photos made the pool seem bigger than it really was."

"There are A LOT of stairs. Almost 120 stairs to get to the hotel or to your car. The queen bed was ok but the twin bed was kind of hard. I would not come back to this place because of the stairs honestly. Aside from that, the place was good for it's price"

"After making a reservation, we received a message stating that the property had not been available for a long time, despite still being listed. We were surprised and disappointed, especially since we have not received any response regarding our refund. Very poor communication and an overall frustrating experience."

"The staff was very kind and courteous. It is a family run business as are many smaller hotels in Costa Rica. We felt safe and secure. It was a very basic room , but it was clean and comfortable. Again, the staff was the best."
