The B&B is clean, had a delcious breakfast , friendly staff. A bit confusing to find because if the entrada is open you can proceed to the B&B driveway gate which means you do not find the keypad to put in the provided code. We rang the bell there to no avail and ended up getting a neighbor's help. Once inside the situation was explained and we understood. Maybe a note providing a heads up could be added? A lovely stay in every other way!

Close to the airport

Ms. Dora was lovely and greeted us with a warm welcome. The neighborhood was a little shady, but the property is double-gated. $7 uber drive from the airport. Great for a first/last night stay before or after a flight.

Great B&B just nextdoor to the airport

Small family owned B&B within minutes from the airport. Great value, friendly staff, clean basic rooms with a good shower. Perfect when you're exhausted after a long flight from europe.

Small and comfortable B&B, with a front gate. Felt safe as a solo traveler and breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend staying here if coming from/going to the airport. Rooms were quiet (with some airplane noise above) and the staff was excellent.

Lovely B&B

Lovely B&B! Very clean, nice size room, warm & cozy common areas with a small kitchen with everything you need for tea or coffee. Great sitting area if you want to order take out and eat it there. Great customer service and the owner was very kind and helpful. We'll stay here again.

The property was very nice, clean, and provided an early ride to the airport for a reasonable fee. The owner greeted us and made sure we were comfortable. My advice is to try to arrive before dark because the keypad is a little hard to see.

We booked 2 rooms at this b&b so our group could be close to the airport for an early morning flight. We were pleasantly surprised by the layout of the property. It was in a gated community. The building had a common area in the center and the rooms off to the sides. The common area was very relaxed and comfy. Next door was a little soda that sold delicious food so we didn't need to leave the gated community. Dora, the b&b manager, was very kind and explained all necessary info off the bat. The rooms were standard and comfortable. They do only take cash,which they are pretty clear about, so keep that in mind.

Decent stay for the price

The place was decent. Staff were great and kind. I’d probably just spend extra to get a nicer hotel. The doors were paper thin and you could hear people talking outside and moving around. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and springy, but nothing too horrible. This place only accepts cash. Overall it’s a 6/10. You get what you pay for, and I think for the price, it was a decent stay.

I felt well taken care of and was able to rest comfortably waiting for my flight. A ride to airport was provided and it was perfect for service to airport. The hotel is behind two gates and pickup is safe and secure. No need to wait on street with your belongings. I will be staying here again for sure. Love the great service and friendly welcoming atmosphere. Clean and nice accommodations more than met my standard and needs. However the best part was the staff. So glad a business has stepped up to fulfill this need and performs.

Beautiful, peaceful and great breakfast

We had an amazing time at Casa Maria. It was the perfect place to unwind after a 4.5 hour drive. Dora greeted us and helped us easily get parked and checked in. She asked what time we would like breakfast and suggested places close by to get dinner or anything else we may need. The room was clean, the shower was spacious with HOT water and we enjoyed being able to access the coffee bar and mini kitchen at anytime. Breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, eggs, gallo pinto, plantains(our favorite in CR), buttered toast and jelly, coffee and juice. Checkout was easy and we truly felt welcome and cared for by all. Thank you for a great stay! We will definitely be back. **Helpful tip to find the hotel** Once you cross the small bridge before the entrance, look for the first side street on the right - with the solid black gate and formal entry. (The main gate was already open when we arrived, so it was a bit confusing figuring out which one was the right gate to go in.) There is a directory/keypad located to the left of the main entrance gate on the wall. It's not a small keypad or single button, it's a directory with numbers of each business/hotel listed. The directions state that after you cross the bridge, to look for a black gate near a yellow pole on the right and then punch a number to alert the office you have arrived... unfortunately, there are 3 consecutive black gates immediately after crossing the bridge. Hope that helps :) !
