"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. "The room was clean. However it was advertised tbat there was tea/coffee available- there was not. Also basic items were missing -- no shampoo, no hairdryer, no kleenex. Only sheets on bed. Air conditioning in bedroom only."

"The name is Harlem B&B but no breakfast on offer. Really this is no more than a pension which at $US 150 per night ( booked months in advance) is over-priced. Room was basic but clean and a nice bathroom, but often no staff were evident in the building and service was non-existent."
